Lead Designer & Creative Director
KENDALL PATA
Kendall Pata is an artist and graphic designer born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She received her BFA with highest honors from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she was a four year letter winner in Division I collegiate soccer. Specializing in print design, Kendall also pursues photography, styling, and event design. Her creative process is informed by her extensive travels and numerous studies abroad.
In January 2021, Kendall joined the Board of Directors for Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara, and previously served with the Santa Barbara Public Library Foundation. In 2018, she co-founded the Santa Barbara chapter of Moms Demand Action, a national grassroots advocacy group fighting to end gun violence, and still serves as Local Group Co-Lead.
A vocal advocate for women’s rights, education, and the arts, Kendall has volunteered with many local organizations, including the Women’s Fund of Santa Barbara, the Junior League of Santa Barbara (JLSB), and the Santa Barbara County Alliance for Arts Education. She is an active member of the League of Women Voters and the Santa Barbara Young Professionals Club, and recently was invited to serve on the Community Council of Advisors for JLSB.

Associate Designer
MAYELA RODRIGUEZ
Mayela Rodriguez is a graphic designer and practicing artist currently working and residing in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Born and raised in Santa Barbara California, Mayela completed her degree in Art Practice at the University of California, Berkeley in 2015 and received her M.F.A. in Art from the University of Michigan in the Spring of 2019. Mayela utilizes sculpture, photography, and social engagement to construct and examine relationships, exchanges, and imagined spaces.

MADDIE PUGH
Maddie is a graphic designer and artist currently living in Alexandria, Virginia. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, she moved up the coast and received her BA in Business from UC Santa Cruz in 2015. After a few years working as a Brand Marketing Specialist, she decided to go back to school and graduated from Academy of Art University with a Masters in Graphic Design in 2020. Her design style draws inspiration from the places she’s lived, combining the breezy and colorful aesthetic of the West Coast with the clean and minimalist style of the East.
